On Thursday, October 30th 2025, Yad Vashem opened the Living Memory museum,
in which part of Aron Hakodesh from Siret is presented in the entrance of this museum.
Unfortunately only a small part of the Ark was restored and presented, despite the agreement with Yad Vashem that the whole Ark will be restored and shown.
I have prepared a summary of the ceremony, including photos and hope it will be a nice reminder. Please see it in the attached file.
The following link includes information about the long process after which the Ark was donated to Yad Vashem. It was brought to Yad Vashem on 15 May 2024.
