Mogilev Podolski is a town in Ukraine, on the Dnieper River. In the holocaust it was one the big detention places to where Bukovina Jews were deported. There is in the town a big Jewish Cemetery from WW-II as well as a Jewish Museum and several monuments.

In 2007, when Mr. Katz was there, the prison compound was still there. The agricultural fields in front of the prison are actually a cemetery where innumerable Jews are buried. There is a monument built by the Jewish community of Moghilev Podolski which he and Mrs. Power (separately at different times) photographed.
Mrs. Sylvie Gsell is maintaining a website (in Facebook) in which she provides information about the Mogilev Podolsk concentration camp, to where Bukovina Jews were deported.
