Mr. Ptachia Menkin and Mrs. Bruria Menkin<\/strong>\u00a0took part in this journey, that was organized by the World Organization of Bukovina Jews<\/strong> and led by Mr. Yochanan Ron\u00a0Singer<\/strong> and Mr. Dan Marian<\/strong>. The \u00a0Menkin<\/strong>s also visited this area\u00a0previously in 2013, 2011 and 2005.<\/p>\n One of the places they visited was\u00a0Tzibulevka<\/strong> in Transnistria, <\/strong>where they saw 3 monuments <\/strong>on the mass grave of Jews murdered in WWII<\/strong>. Among those victims were Bruria’s grand parents – Israel and Brana Margulis<\/strong> from Siret<\/strong>. Bruria’s mother has always cried that there is no grave of her beloved parents and finding this mass-grave has resolved her sorrow. On 7-15 July 2015 a group of almost 90 people from Israel\u00a0went on a journey on the path of the Holocaust of Romanian Jews, in Bukovina and Transnistria valley of death. \nThe monuments are in a corn\u00a0field, approximately 1 Km from the village. Two monuments are close to each other and one is 50m away. The monuments are built on\u00a0a stone basis.
\nPlease note that there are 2 villages – Old<\/strong> and New\u00a0Tzibulevka<\/strong> (Staraya Tzibulevka,\u00a0Novaya Tzibulevka<\/strong>).
